Illinois PRAISE FORCE is a small, Gideon team of faithful prayer warriors working together to cover Illinois in continuous, effective prayer. Our goal is to consistently have someone from our team in Heaven's Throne Room, interceding on behalf of Illinois to bring awakening, revival, reformation, and transformation to our beautiful state, and to put Godly men and women into every seat of government in Illinois. We are currently focusing on the General Election on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Our strategy is:
PRAY:
We are asking each Prayer Warrior to pray one hour each day. Our first goal is to cover all of the Gates of Time: 6-7 PM, 9-10 PM, Midnight-1 AM, 3-4 AM, 6-7 AM, 9-10 AM, noon-1 PM, and 3-4 PM. Then, we will gradually progress to filling a 24/7 schedule. We send out daily "ZEAL for Illinois" Prayer Texts in order to help you speak to the mountain of evil and make it fall. In addition, we have a suggested format that you may choose to follow during your hour of prayer, as well as prayer lists for some of the candidates who are running for office in Illinois.
FAST:
We are asking each Prayer Warrior to fast something until November 4th when the ballots are counted and winners have been announced. You could fast soda, desserts, do an intermittent fast, or anything that you and JESUS agree on.
PRAISE:
We are asking each Prayer Warrior to spend some of their prayer time in praising the LORD. When we praise GOD, He fights our battles and moves mountains!
VOTE:
We are asking each Prayer Warrior to go and vote on November 3, 2026, (or vote early at your courthouse). Also, please talk to all of your family, friends, neighbors, and church family to encourage them to vote for Godly candidates.
